A GUI is an acronym for graphical user interface. This is the format which computer programs use to interface with users. Microsoft Windows is an example of a GUI. There are a lots of advantages and disadvantages of GUI, one of this is, it is typically more user friendly by using a mouse and graphics to select commands and actions. It can be more attractive for non-technical people. GUI's disadvantages include the fact that they are typically slower, and require more memory. Depending on the programmer, it might require more time to be implemented.
A CLI is an acronym for command line interface, it enables a user to easily script a sequence of commands to perform a task or execute a program.Users have much more control of their file system and operating system in a command line interfaceIt is user friendly because, users can easily copy a specific file from one location to another with a one-line command.CLI's disadvantages include that a command-line interface is a low-level interface with functions tailored more for "behind the scenes" interaction and programming.
